Most lists of the best B2B SEO agency options are written by agencies who rank themselves first and hope nobody checks the reasoning.

We have ranked ourselves first too, so here is the deal. The methodology is published below, we have said who we left out and why, and every other agency here is described the way it describes itself.

Nine of the ten agencies below are genuinely good at B2B search. The question isn't which agency is objectively best. The question is which one fits the shape of your business, your budget and the stage you are at.

One disclosure belongs above the table rather than below it. Nomada Digital is headquartered in York in the United Kingdom, and we work with B2B clients across the US. We have stated that plainly rather than presenting a US address we do not have.

The 10 best B2B SEO agencies at a glance

Nomada Digital publishes this list. We've explained the reasoning below rather than pretending to be a neutral party.

How we built this list

Five criteria decided which agencies made the list.

1. The agency has a genuine B2B focus, rather than being a B2C agency with a B2B page bolted on.

2. It can show pipeline outcomes such as leads, SQLs and deals, rather than traffic charts and ranking screenshots.

3. It works across more than one platform, because a B2B buying decision now runs across 10 or more touchpoints.

4. It is ready for AI search, which means it can get a client named in ChatGPT answers and Google AI Overviews rather than only ranked on page one.

5. It has a clear engagement model, so you know who is doing the work before you sign anything.

This is a US list. Every agency below either operates from the US or, in our case, works with US B2B clients from elsewhere, and the difference is stated in each entry. If you are buying in the United Kingdom instead, our guide to the best UK B2B SEO agencies compares ten British agencies on the same criteria.

Who we left out: large generalist network agencies that treat B2B as a side line, freelancers and one person consultancies, some of which are excellent but carry a continuity risk that belongs in a different conversation, and agencies with no published case studies. We also left out one agency we had intended to include, because its website was not resolving while this page was being written and we will not describe an agency we cannot verify.

We are a B2B search engine optimization agency ourselves, and we run a five tier framework, so treat our own entry with the skepticism it deserves. Judge it on the numbers inside it rather than on its position. Every other description here is built from how each agency presents itself publicly, because inventing comparative verdicts about nine competitors would be dishonest and you would spot it anyway. There are no paid placements, affiliate arrangements or reciprocal link deals on this page.

B2B isn't B2C with a longer sales cycle

A B2C search strategy and a B2B search strategy share a toolkit and very little else.

Consider a $75,000 annual contract. The buying committee runs to six or ten people, the cycle runs somewhere between six and eighteen months, and the person who first searches the problem is rarely the person who signs the order. The term that starts the whole process often gets 40 searches a month rather than 40,000.

A generalist agency optimizes for what it can show you quickly, which means volume, rankings and sessions. Those numbers are real, and in ecommerce they track revenue closely. In B2B they often do not. We have worked on accounts where organic traffic fell and qualified pipeline rose, because the traffic that left was never going to buy anything.

A specialist B2B agency works the other way round. It starts from the deal, works back to the committee, and targets the terms a procurement stage buyer would actually type. The result is fewer clicks and better ones.

Here is what changes in practice.

The 10 best B2B SEO agencies in 2026

Each entry below states where the agency operates, who it suits, and what to watch for before you sign.

1. Nomada Digital

Based in: York, United Kingdom, working with B2B clients across the US. Best for: US B2B companies that want a senior UK team covering search, AI search and social visibility in one program.

Nomada Digital is a B2B SEO agency and cross-platform visibility partner built on five tiers: SEO, AEO and link acquisition first, then content and CRO, then efficient paid through Bing and LinkedIn, then brand PR and Reddit, then Google Ads. The order is deliberate, because each tier makes the next one cheaper. Our B2B SEO services took Vibe Retail, our US client, from position 83 to number one in three months with 25% ChatGPT visibility, Novuna to +163% qualified leads and +88% conversion rate, and Devyce to +190% leads with 61 keywords in the top 10.

Worth knowing: this is a lean senior team that turns work away when capacity is full, and it is the one entry here you should read with the skepticism a self nomination deserves.

2. Directive Consulting

Based in: Orange County, California, with further locations in Austin, New York, Mexico City, London and Toronto. Best for: B2B software teams that want paid and organic managed as a single growth program.

Directive Consulting works only with B2B companies, organized into technology, industrial and services verticals, and it defines its own job as moving marketers from MQLs to qualified pipeline. The integration claim is visible in its published methodology, DiscoverabilityOS, which runs from modeling the market through to scaling what converts, and in a proprietary intelligence platform it calls Stratos. The agency has been operating since 2013.

Worth knowing: pricing is not published, and the client roster skews toward funded software companies rather than early stage teams.

3. Siege Media

Based in: Austin, Texas, with locations in New York, Chicago and San Francisco and a fully remote team. Best for: B2B brands whose constraint is content production and earned links at scale.

Siege Media now positions itself as a full service GEO agency whose job is to make brands the answer in search. The production capability shows in the service list, which covers content strategy and creation, digital PR, Reddit marketing, research reports and design, supported by two in-house tools it names as BlueprintIQ and DataFlywheel. The client roster runs to large consumer and software brands, so the operation is built for volume.

Worth knowing: the roster spans B2B and consumer brands rather than B2B alone, and pricing is not published.

4. Grow and Convert

Based in: the United States, with a fully remote team across the US and Europe and no published office address. Best for: companies that need bottom of funnel content that converts rather than traffic growth.

Grow and Convert created Pain Point SEO, a method that prioritizes keywords by buying intent instead of search volume. That choice is visible in how the client work is reported, which is framed around conversions rather than sessions. The same thinking now extends to AI search through a topic based GEO approach and an in-house visibility tool called Traqer AI, which the agency includes for every client. Services cover content, technical SEO, link building, AI citation outreach and paid search.

Worth knowing: the model is content led, so a site with structural technical problems will need that work solved alongside it.

5. Omniscient Digital

Based in: Austin, Texas, with further offices in New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Boston. Best for: established B2B software companies whose organic program needs to produce revenue rather than traffic.

Omniscient Digital describes itself as an organic growth agency for ambitious B2B brands, and states directly that SEO, GEO and content should drive business growth rather than traffic. It is also the only agency on this list that publishes a starting figure, with full service engagements beginning at $10,000 a month. The service set covers SEO strategy, GEO, programmatic and technical SEO, link building, digital PR, content production and analytics.

Worth knowing: that published entry point of $10,000 a month puts it out of reach for early stage teams.

6. First Page Sage

Based in: the San Francisco Bay Area, California, though no street address is published. Best for: companies with enterprise budgets that want thought leadership content to carry lead generation.

First Page Sage presents itself as an SEO and GEO agency that generates qualified leads through thought leadership, and states that it has more than 17 years of experience building organic lead generation systems. The enterprise orientation is visible in the brands it displays, which include Salesforce, Logitech, Verizon and US Bank. It also states that it does not lock clients into long term contracts, which is unusual at that end of the market.

Worth knowing: pricing is not published, and the client profile points to budgets set at enterprise level.

7. RevenueZen

Based in: Portland, Oregon. Best for: B2B teams that want SEO reported against pipeline and content built from subject matter expert interviews.

RevenueZen leads with the claim that its SEO creates pipeline and its GEO work positions a brand as the trusted answer. The interview led method is visible in the service list, which pairs expert interviews with AI enabled content workflows, LinkedIn thought leadership and ghostwriting. Industry pages cover startups, health tech, professional services, renewable energy and financial services, and the agency publishes aggregate figures of more than 300 client partnerships and 384% average organic traffic growth.

Worth knowing: a pricing page exists on the site but carries no figures, so ask for the number on the first call.

8. Bay Leaf Digital

Based in: Grapevine, Texas. Best for: B2B SaaS companies that want SEO, GEO and paid search run by one team.

Bay Leaf Digital has worked in SaaS marketing since 2013 and says plainly that SaaS marketing is all it does. The integration claim is testable against the service list, which covers SEO strategy, GEO, content, PPC and retargeting, marketing automation, HubSpot management and analytics in one place. Paid coverage extends across LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, alongside profile work on G2, Gartner and Capterra.

Worth knowing: the site suggests agencies typically suit SaaS companies under $5 million ARR, so larger programs may fit better elsewhere on this list.

9. Stratabeat

Based in: Burlington, Massachusetts, in the Boston area. Best for: B2B brands whose traffic is adequate and whose conversion rate is the real constraint.

Stratabeat sells SEO, GEO and CRO as one discipline, and describes its approach as neuroscience based marketing with content to ICP fit verification. The emphasis is visible in the case figures it publishes, including 123% organic traffic growth and 196% blog page view growth for a property management SaaS company. It also states that it was named SEO Agency of the Year at the 2026 US Agency Awards. Services extend to Reddit marketing, digital PR, web design and analytics.

Worth knowing: pricing is not published, and the CRO emphasis means a site redesign conversation often arrives with the SEO one.

10. iPullRank

Based in: New York, New York, where the company references its own NY office, though no street address is published. Best for: enterprise and mid market brands with technically complex sites and an AI search problem.

iPullRank positions itself as an enterprise and mid market AI search agency, and it has given the work its own vocabulary: Relevance Engineering for how models find and select information, and Resonance Design for content people remember. The enterprise credential is visible in the brands it lists, including Target, Under Armour, American Express and The Wall Street Journal. The agency is founder led by Mike King and describes itself as a productized service rather than an hourly one.

Worth knowing: many clients sign NDAs, so the case studies are unnamed, and pricing is not published.

Also worth a look: SimpleTiger in Sarasota, Florida works only with SaaS and marketplace companies, Animalz is a content and SEO agency built around B2B SaaS brands, and Ten Speed describes itself as a US based organic growth agency helping B2B companies gain visibility across Google and large language models. Any of the three is worth a conversation if none of the ten above fits.

What a B2B SEO agency actually costs in the US

Almost nobody publishes rates, so here are the market benchmark ranges.

Most US B2B SEO work is retainer based, and anything under roughly $1,500 a month rarely buys enough senior time to move a competitive B2B market. The work that matters in the first quarter is senior and strategic, and it costs what it costs.

The table below sets out US market benchmark ranges by engagement type. These are not quotes for any agency named on this page, because we do not know what the other nine charge and we are not going to guess. Ask each one directly, and ask what the number buys in senior hours. Our own B2B SEO case studies show what the outcomes look like at the boutique end of this table.

One further question is worth asking. Find out whether the retainer includes link acquisition and digital PR, or whether those are billed on top, because that single answer moves the real cost by thousands of dollars a month.

Engagement typeMonthly rangeIdeal clientWhat is included
Freelance or solo consultant$1,500 to $3,500Early stage companies running one channelPart time strategy with limited execution
Boutique or founder led agency$3,500 to $8,000Post product market fit companies that need senior attentionStrategy, technical work, content, links and senior time

The gap almost every agency on this list still has

Nearly every agency on this list now sells generative engine optimization as a named service, and almost none of them publishes how the result is measured.

A single B2B buying decision now runs across 10 or more touchpoints and at least four platforms, including Google, ChatGPT, Bing, LinkedIn, Reddit, the trade press and your own site. AI Overviews and ChatGPT increasingly answer the question without a click, so the buyer sees a recommendation before a results page. That changes the job, because ranking first for a term nobody clicks is a hollow win.

If you are not named in that answer, you are not on the shortlist, and you never find out you were excluded. There is no impression data for a conversation you were not part of, and no line in Search Console for a deal that got decided in a chat window. You simply stop being considered.

The mechanism is straightforward. AI tools do not hold opinions about who is good, so they recommend the businesses they can find evidence for. That evidence is third party mentions, consistent presence across platforms and credible coverage in publications that get cited. Digital PR, links and content are therefore not three line items competing for the same budget, because they all feed the same machine, and that machine now writes the shortlist.

There is a five minute test worth running. Open ChatGPT and ask who the best providers of what you do are in your sector, then ask twice more with different phrasing. See whether you appear, and see who appears instead. The exercise is usually sobering, because the names that come back are not the best businesses in the category, they are the most visible ones.

Being straight about this, most agencies on this list are excellent at classical SEO and several have built real AI search capability, with iPullRank and Siege Media both building their current positioning around it. The remaining gap is measurement rather than intent. The question isn't whether your agency has heard of AI search. The question is whether anyone there can tell you what percentage of relevant ChatGPT answers currently name you.

How to shortlist the best SEO agency for B2B

Three calls are usually enough to separate a good agency from a plausible one, and the difference shows up in how specific the answers get when you push on them.

Ask for B2B case studies in your sector, then ask what happened to pipeline rather than traffic. Ask who does the work day to day, and insist on meeting those people. Ask what they would report on every month, and whether they would hold you to a 12 month contract in order to do it.

Anyone selling B2B SEO services should be able to answer all seven of the questions below without going away to check. If the answer arrives as a slide about their process instead, that is your answer.

What to askWhy it mattersWhat a good answer sounds like

The honest caveat

We rank ourselves first on a list we publish, so weight this entry accordingly.

We are also a lean team, which means we turn work away when capacity is full. Several agencies on this list can absorb a large program starting next month and we cannot, and that is a genuine disadvantage if you need to move at scale immediately.

We do not do brand creative, we do not build large websites, and we do not buy media at scale. If you need a single partner covering brand, creative, web build and media buying, an integrated agency further up this list is the better call, and we would rather say so on the first call than stretch to fit.

Our model is narrow on purpose, and it covers visibility across search, AI and the platforms where B2B buyers actually decide. Narrow means we are either the obvious answer to your problem or the wrong one, and that is the trade.

Frequently asked questions

Is SEO worth it for B2B?

Yes, provided you measure it on the right timeline. B2B SEO compounds rather than spikes, so month two looks unremarkable and month ten often carries the quarter. The economics work because B2B deal values are high and intent led search reaches buyers who are already evaluating options. A single six figure contract from organic search can cover a year of retainer. The real risk is not that SEO fails in B2B. The risk is that a program gets measured monthly and canceled in month four.

How much does a B2B SEO agency cost in the US?

The benchmark ranges are in the pricing table above. Most US B2B companies land between $3,500 and $8,000 a month with a boutique or founder led agency, mid market programs run $8,000 to $15,000, and enterprise work starts around $15,000. Freelance and solo consultants sit at $1,500 to $3,500. Those are market ranges rather than quotes from any agency named on this page. Omniscient Digital is the only agency here that publishes a starting figure, at $10,000 a month.

Which SEO agencies are best in the US for B2B?

The ten compared above all do credible B2B work: Nomada Digital, Directive Consulting, Siege Media, Grow and Convert, Omniscient Digital, First Page Sage, RevenueZen, Bay Leaf Digital, Stratabeat and iPullRank. Which one is best depends on stage, sector and budget. A seed stage SaaS company, a 300 person manufacturer and a professional services firm should each arrive at a different answer, and any list that hands all three the same name is guessing.

What is the difference between a B2B SEO agency and a generalist agency?

Four things change, and they are set out in the comparison table above. Keyword strategy moves from high volume head terms to low volume, high intent terms. The success metric moves from traffic to qualified pipeline and SQLs. The buying cycle stretches from weeks to somewhere between six and eighteen months across a committee. Conversion stops meaning add to cart and starts meaning demo requests and RFP entries. A generalist agency can be genuinely good and still be optimizing for the wrong finish line.

How long does B2B SEO take to work?

Expect early movement in three to four months, including ranking shifts, the first AI citations and better quality inquiries. Meaningful pipeline usually arrives between six and twelve months, because the sales cycle sits on top of the SEO timeline. A new domain in a competitive category moves more slowly than that. An established site with technical problems can move faster than either, because the work removes brakes rather than building authority from nothing.

Do I need a separate AI search (AEO or GEO) agency?

No, and splitting the work usually costs you. AI visibility is built from the same content, technical foundation and third party mentions as organic visibility, so two separate agencies end up competing over the same assets. What you do need is a partner that treats AI search as a discipline with its own measurement rather than a by-product of ranking. Ask what percentage of relevant AI answers currently name a client of theirs. If no number comes back, it is not being measured.

What SEO services are available for B2B companies?

The standard set covers technical SEO, content strategy and production, digital PR and link acquisition, AEO and GEO for AI search, conversion rate optimization, and analytics or attribution work. Most B2B SEO services are sold as a bundled monthly retainer, and some agencies sell the components individually. Sequence matters more than the list. Fixing conversion before there is traffic, or buying links before the site can be crawled properly, wastes money in a way that stays invisible for two quarters.

What is the best SEO agency for B2B SaaS companies?

Several agencies on this list work almost entirely in software. Omniscient Digital and Grow and Convert both concentrate on B2B software programs, Bay Leaf Digital states that SaaS marketing is all it does, and RevenueZen publishes dedicated B2B SaaS SEO work. The right choice depends on the constraint. Choose a content specialist when the site is technically sound and the content does not convert, and choose a technical partner when the platform itself is capping performance.

Should a B2B company hire an agency or build an in house team?

Hire an agency when the need is senior strategy and multi channel execution sooner than a hire can be made, and build in house when the volume of work is steady and the knowledge needs to stay in the building. Most companies end up running both, with an in house marketer owning the roadmap and an agency supplying specialist depth. The best B2B SEO company for a business with no internal marketing function is rarely the same one that suits a team of six.

What should a B2B SEO agency report on?

A monthly report should show qualified leads and pipeline contribution first, then the leading indicators that explain them: rankings for commercial terms, the share of AI answers that name the brand, organic conversion rate and content performance by funnel stage. Traffic belongs in the report as context rather than as the headline. Ask for the reporting template before signing, because a template built around sessions tells you what the agency intends to be judged on.

The takeaway

The real question is not who the best B2B SEO agency is. The real question is where your visibility is breaking and who fixes that particular break.

Most businesses hire for a channel when they should be hiring for a gap, and there are four common ones. The gap is technical when the site cannot be crawled, indexed or migrated cleanly. It is content when nothing you publish survives a procurement conversation. It is positioning when you sound like everybody else in the category. It is visibility when you are fine on Google and absent everywhere else the committee looks.

Work out which gap you have, then go back to the table at the top and pick the agency built for it. On most of those four gaps somebody else on this list is the better fit than us, and we would rather you found that out now than nine months into a retainer.
