Who we are
This website, nomadadigital.co.uk, is run by Nomada Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12869202), 11 Heworth Hall Drive, York, YO31 1AG. We decide how the personal data described here is used. If you have any question about it, email hello@nomadadigital.co.uk.
The short version
- If you fill in our contact form, we use what you send to reply to you.
- If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity record how you use the site. If you decline, neither runs.
- Our hosting provider, Vercel, handles the technical data any website needs to work.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't add you to marketing lists.
When you use the contact form
We collect your name, email address and message, and, if you give them, your phone number, subject, website address and how you found us. The form sends this to our lead management system (run on Supabase), where Danny or Luke pick it up and reply.
We use it only to answer your enquiry and, if we end up working together, to manage that relationship. Our reason for using it (the "lawful basis") is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them for that, and delete them sooner if you ask.
Analytics: Google Analytics, only if you accept
Only if you click "Accept" do we load Google Analytics. It records which pages you visit, how you arrived (for example from a search engine or a link), your approximate location, device and browser type, and the actions you take on the site, such as clicking "Book a call", starting a free scan or sending the contact form. It does not record what you type into the form. We use it to understand which pages and channels bring enquiries. Google processes this data for us; see the Google privacy policy.
Analytics: Microsoft Clarity, only if you accept
When you first visit, we ask whether we can use analytics cookies. Only if you click "Accept" do we load Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records how visitors use the site - pages visited, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, device and browser type - and turns it into heatmaps and session replays that help us improve the site. Microsoft processes this data for us. You can read how Microsoft handles it in the Microsoft privacy statement.
Our lawful basis for Google Analytics and Clarity is your consent. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. The cookies involved are listed in our cookie policy.
Hosting: Vercel
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel's servers receive your IP address and basic request details (the page you asked for, your browser and the time) so they can deliver the page and keep the service secure. Vercel may keep short-lived logs of these requests.
Fonts: Google Fonts
Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
Other sites
The free domain check and the packages are on alwayscited.com, which has its own privacy policy. Links to other websites, such as LinkedIn, are covered by those sites' policies, not this one.
Where your data goes
Vercel, Microsoft, Google and Supabase may process data outside the UK, including in the US. Where they do, it is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@nomadadigital.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
